4-5 Year

4 - 5 Year Physical Development

This year, he/she will reach about twice the size of his/her birth. However, this is not a rule. This is normal if your child continues to grow according to his or her own development path. Avoid comparing him/her to other children.

Your child's motor skills will show further progress in these age groups. During the year, you will see them able to jump over the ropes, turn around, roll, and hang on the bar with their arms. They can climb to some climbing equipment on the playground, jump on the scene for a long time, jump forward easily, and use their arms to throw the ball forward on their heads without using their bodies too much. Again at this age, they can only pitch forward with their wrists. Again this year, your child will be able to play the ball on the ground, jump on one foot and catch the ball with both hands.

In addition, your child will also make significant progress in fine motor skills. They will be able to make a sturdy multi-cube tower, draw a house and a person with at least six body parts, write their own names, and make rough shapes with dough, although it doesn't make much sense. At these ages, your child will be able to use scissors more correctly. By following the current line, they can cut the paper in a straight line. They can also simulate simple shapes by drawing.

At this age, children can also brush their teeth, comb their hair, wash their hands and dry them. If you support them, they can also wear their own clothes. However, they are more likely to wear shoes at a later age. At this age, your child's favorite hand (left or right) will be revealed. If they use their left hand, please do not force them to use their right hand.

At this age, your child will have enough language skills to remember and tell a part of the story. They can also tell long stories. They can make sentences of more than five words. They can use the future tense to make sentences. They can tell their name and address correctly.
