4 - 5 Year Mental and Social Development
Ages 4-5 are preschool. During these years, your child will experience significant social and spiritual improvements with the support of the game team, while you are ready to go to school, with your support and if he/she is involved. Watching them will also be exciting and enjoyable. Now you will see your child build more relationships with the outside world and make friends. You will see that he/she has become more outgoing and independent, and you will be more happy to realize that this is not your little baby a few years ago.
At these ages, your child will be eager to do something new. He/she will like to pretend to be a mother or father and often imitate you. At the age of 5, he/she will start to enjoy playing with other children instead of playing alone and will learn to work with others.
At 4 years of age, your child may not be able to distinguish between real and fictional things. However, at the age of 5, he will be able to distinguish between reality and imagination.
They will be able to tell what he likes and dislikes, and insist on not doing things they don't like. Sometimes they are very compatible with you, listening to you, sometimes they are very demanding and incompatible.
At the age of 5, your child will be able to count more than 10 objects. They can also correctly name at least 4 colors. For your child, the concept of time will become clearer. They will begin to understand concepts such as "Tomorrow, later, yesterday". They will begin to understand materials in the home and in everyday life, such as money, food, plates, pots and phones.
Your child will start making friends and choosing friends. At the age of 5, they also want to be recognized by friends, unlike the previous age. This is an important step in social activities because they want to be loved and recognized by others. Try to be like some friends at this age. To do this, they can imitate, try to dress, and talk like them. These are all normal stages of development.
At these ages, your child will begin to pay attention to the rules. They will also learn and enjoy dancing, singing, imitation and performance. Your child will also gain more independence and even try to visit your neighbors. Therefore, it is best to talk to them about security issues, not to be afraid of opposing strangers and acting on their own, but to establish clear limits.
At 4-5 years old, your child is now beginning to suspect sexual behavior and question the difference between boys and girls. Try to answer the questions they want to know in a simple but correct way.
